LEAGUE RULES
SCORING
- *** Each team must “record” their scores! Recording can be done by using a cell phone camera to capture the 9 hole score. When available, a Keystone Golf employee will capture the score as well.
- 1st Place Team receives 6 points
- 2nd Place Team receives 5 points
- 3rd Place Team receives 4 points
- 4th Place Team receives 3 points
- 5th Place Team receives 2 points
- All other teams receive 1 participation point
ALTERNATES
- Each player is responsible for finding their own alternate if they are unable to make a league night.
- If an alternate cannot be found, a single player can hit both shots in the scramble format. However, the handicap factor will be at 25% for both shots as it can be an advantage to hit the same shot twice.
- If a player or team no shows a league night, they will receive 0 points for the night.
- If team does not have 2 players, all missing players must pay for missed weeks.
HANDICAPPING SYSTEM
The handicapping formula for the league is based on your teams performance from the previous two weeks. It is also based on how you did compared to other teams during those previous two weeks. In other words, how you perform in weeks 1 and 2 determines how many strokes your team is awarded week 3. Or, how you do in weeks 6 and 7 determines your handicap for week 8.
Example: 10 Teams in the league play the first 2 weeks of the season. The teams are ranked 1 through 10. The top two teams get -1 from their score in week 3, the next two teams get -2, next two teams -3 …
OTHER RULES
- There are no mulligans allowed. In the case of an error with the simulator please notify staff and we will make an adjustment.
- Any shots that do not register may be replayed without penalty
- Teams may join after the season has started but cannot earn League Points for weeks that have already passed. League fee will be pro-rated depending on how many weeks were missed, with a maximum of 2.
- Anyone not finishing in their allotted time will have the remaining holes averaged out based on how far under/over par they are at that point.
- Shots must be played from the appropriate lie (Fairway, Rough or Sand)
- Teams must wrap up play by about 3-4 minutes before the hour and be completely cleared from the simulator by the turn of the hour so the next team can start on time.
